For expansion, guidance and growth.

Vedic Astrology is an ancient system of astrology dating back more than 4000 years. It stems from the same body of knowledge as Yoga, Ayurveda and Vedic Meditation. It's traditionally called 'Jyotish' in Sanskrit, which translates to The Science of Light.

Jyotish uses the actual astronomical placements of the planets and observes their movements across the 12 star constellations (widely referred to as Zodiac signs) to gain insights on events for both the collective and the individual.

There are a number of different approaches to Jyotish. The way I have been trained to practice Jyotish is for the purpose of Self Realisation. I focus on you, using your time, date and place of birth to create a blueprint of the sky at the moment of your first breath. Each birth chart is unique and holds valuable insights that can support you on your journey through this lifetime.

Using the insights gained from this intricate system I'll help you get in touch with your true nature, empower you to embrace your unique flavour and step into your full potential.

What is Vedic Astrology?

I am not a fortune teller...

Jyotish is a treasured system. It has survived thousands of years and was recognised by the ancient teachers of India as an essential scientific tool to support us in our evolution.

Although Jyotish has the power to show us whats to come, there is not one set future, you have free-will and the choices you make today will determine the path ahead.

At any time, there are certain 'flavours' of energy which are pre-determined and activate specific areas of your life. My job is to help you make the most of the flavour that is presenting now, guiding you away from lower impulses and towards your most evolutionary path.

I therefore won't share anything with you that is limiting. I will not tell you exactly when you are going to meet the love of your life or when you will have a baby. I can tell you, if you wish, when a good time to focus on love and relationships is vs buckling down with work or when your strongest window of fertility is.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE.

“My intention is to always leave you feeling uplifted, empowered and inspired.”

The Difference Between Western and Vedic Astrology

Simply put, it's all about how we calculate the position of the planets.

Vedic astrology, traditionally known as Jyotish, is based on the sidereal zodiac – a system in which the positions of planets are calculated based on where they are actually observed in the sky in respect of the 12 constellations from Aries to Pisces.

Western Astrology, on the other hand, uses the tropical zodiac. This system relies on four seasons that represent the Sun’s movement, equinoxes, solstices, as well as the tilt of Earth on its axis.

About 2,000 years ago, tropical and sidereal signs were in the same position. However, due to a phenomenon called the precession of equinoxes, tropical signs are drifting westward at a rate of one degree every 72 years. At present, western astrology’s Aries is about 24 degrees away from Vedic astrology’s Aries. As a result, these two systems have slightly different zodiac dates.

So there is an 80% chance your sun sign in Western won't be the same in Vedic!
